I recently celebrated a birthday, and with my new year on this rock I started taking photos again. Some of those are already out there on the net, more will be coming as I finish them off. This year is going to be about the hunt, the hunt for my soul. Welcome aboard, I'm sure it's going to be an interesting ride.

On a Journey
It's been a while since I've had anything to say here. The last couple of years have been quite the maelstrom of change. It's caused me to take a step back and to reevaluate what I'm doing here, as a person, as an artist.

On a Roll
Well, since I'm on a roll, I might as well keep going. Today has been productive, not only did I update the mobile site for this blog (which is all fancy and new, so you should go take a peek), but I got out and took some pictures. Sure, they're cell phone snaps, but thanks to the wacky weather patterns, the sidewalks are all colorful.

That's it for me. See ya on the road.

Flora Bliss
One of my stops in Fort Worth Texas was their Botanical Gardens.

Most of the garden was in bloom-

And that's just the start of the gardens. Stay tuned.

In The Hot House
So you might not know, but The Conservatory of Flowers is one of the many old Victorian survivors here in San Francisco. The whole building is a testament to the old style grace of the Victorian Era.

One of my favorite installations is this miniature-

and the flowers...

And of course, who can get past SF's quirkiness-

With that, I'm off to work on some more travel shots. Coming up next, random Texas. Stay tuned.

Some More Mash-Ups
I can't seem to settle on taking new photos, working on prior backlog or working on my latest travel shots. Lucky for you, that means you get more things at once.
First, some shots off The Big Gun (Canon 40D) from Arizona-

Have I mentioned yet that I love Quentin Tarantino movies?

Next is some catch up backlog from December from Golden Gate Park-

And while these are from the same trip, they aren't Golden Gate Park-

San Francisco City Hall

Yesterday was so nice we took another trip to Golden Gate Park, this time for some flowers going to both the Botanical Gardens and The Conservatory of Flowers-

I'll post a few more from this trip after they've finished uploading. Stay tuned.
